This GGXingEnergy® 30w portable solar phone charger is with extended size 90x28x1cm / 35.4x11x0.4in, made from 4pcs of 7.5w solar panels. A little long you may think. But after being folded, it is just as the size of a magazine (folded size 28x19.5x3cm / 11x7.7x1.2in). Weight around 800g / 1.8lbs, lighter around 300g than a general PET 30w portable solar phone charger. It is compact and light enough to fit into any camping backpack or hiking daypack.
Such a portable solar phone charger is only with solar panel and without battery inside to store power. So that you will need to use it under direct sunlight. Its output power is basing on sunlight intension. Stronger sunlight, quicker charging you will get; and weaker sunlight, slower charging or even no charging. So please do not use it at room, under shadow, behind the window or under the bulb light, or at early morning or late afternoon when solar power is weak. Please extend the portable solar phone charger and make all the 4 solar panels be fully covered with sunlight. Then connect your 5V USB supported device with the right charging port. There is a 30cm micro 5pin USB charging cable together with the portable solar phone charger. If it is not the right cable for you, please kindly use your own original charging cable.
Note:
This portable solar phone charger is compatible for iphone / ipad series, (not for iPad Pro). If you find your device shows “accessory is not supported”, this is because sunlight is not strong enough. Please try it again under more brighter sunlight, move the charging cable and do reconnection.
This portable solar phone charger will not cause discharging. Sometimes you may find the battery power is reduced after long time charging under sunlight. Such a case is not due to discharge. Because sunlight condition is always changed, since you put the portable solar phone charger outside, there may be no charging at all due to the weak sunshine condition. But the device itself will cause consumption, then you may find power losing.
This 30w portable solar phone charger can not charge a laptop, or portable power station which needing 18v input voltage. We suggest other models for them.
