The portable solar panel kit can be only used under direct sunlight, because it can not store power due to the lacking of battery. Its output power will follow the sunlight intension, which is constantly changed and causing you unstable power. Max current 3.3A as descripted is tested under an ideal laboratory condition. In natural use it is hard to reach and the use way or loaded situation will also cause power losing. It’s normal that you may get 40w-50w under direct full sunlight. Or low power 10w-20w under poor sunshine, or even no power. This is not a product problem, but decided by the working way of solar panel itself.

The portable solar panel kit is waterproof. The extent is protecting from water splashing. Like other digital products, please do not place it under the rain, or to soak in water. Specially, the junction box and cable out lead is not water-proof. Please keep them being dry.

For the charging for portable power station / solar generator, please firstly confirm well the right voltage / current for your device. This 60w portable solar panel kit is 18V/3.3A max.

When charging laptop, it is plug in and play. Thus for the laptop needing 5A or 6A for normal charging, this 60w portable solar panel kit may perform poorly. We suggest to use larger power like 100w or 120w. If you find there is no charging or only very poor charging, please try it again when sunshine is more brighter.

This portable solar panel kit can charge 12V lead-acid battery, 12v GEL battery, 12v LIFePo4 battery, etc. We suggest to use a solar controller to protect the charging for 12v battery. In the package, there is only a set of battery clamps, without solar controller. Because each customer may have different battery types, and solar controller needs to be different as per battery type.
