Why the 30w portable solar charger suddenly stops working when sunshine is still bright?

This may be caused by the shadow on the solar panel. Both the QC3.0 and Type-C charging need the solar panel to be with 12V voltage. The 4 panels for the 30w portable solar charger are all 6V. Then they need to be in series to realize 12V. When using, if one solar panel is with shadow or other dirty things, it will cause work stopping.

Why not make the 4 solar panels to be each 12V to avoid above disadvantage?

We actually considered this problem. But if making each of them to be 12v, firstly the cost will rise and at the same time the power will be down due to the different array of solar cells. This item already wins large orders, but we do not hear the complaint from the customers yet, and other factories are also making it as this, so we do not keep the changement.

Can this 30w portable solar charger charge a laptop?

No, our 30w portable solar charger can not charge a laptop. A laptop will need 18V for charging, but this item is 12V.

Can this 30w portable solar charger charge a portable power station?

This 30w portable solar charger is with USB 5V, QC 3.0 (5V9V12V), and Type-C (5V9V12V) out. It can not charge a portable power station needing 18V input voltage for charging.

What is the waterproof grade for the 30w portable solar charger?

Both the solar panel surface and cloth cover can be against water in. But the cloth is sewed with solar panel, this will drop the waterproof grade. Water splash on the portable solar charger body is ok, but please do not put it in rain for long time or soak it in water. Specially the junction box is totally not waterproof, please protect it well.
